Inlaid Turtle Fetish

Zuni inlay turtle fetish by Jayne Quam, hand-carved from Campbellite with a domed shell inlaid in a detailed mosaic of turquoise, jet, shell, coral, and other stones. Turquoise inlaid eyes complete the figure. In Zuni tradition, the turtle represents longevity, protection, and a deep connection to the earth.
