1990s Hopi Sifter Basket Handwoven from Yucca - Gathered, Prepared, and Designed by Hopi Women. Sifter baskets are utilitarian, most often used to sift the dry kernels of Hopi corn and also given as a vessel for food gifts from the Kachinas during ceremonies.
