Hopi Overlay Concho Belt
Tribe: Hopi
Early 2000s sterling silver overlay concho belt by Hopi silversmith, Bradley Gashwazra. The buckle features a bold Sunface design, symbolizing balance, harmony, and the life-giving power of the sun. The conchos are decorated with traditional Hopi imagery, including Flute Players, Bear Paws, and figures representing the One-Horn and Two-Horn Society Priests, spiritual guardians in Hopi ceremonial tradition.
The buckle and conchos are mounted on a custom 1” wide black leather belt with hand-tooled stamping. Each silver piece is masterfully crafted in the overlay technique and reflects Gashwazra’s precise and symbolic style.
Part of the historic Kopavi Collection, this belt has never been previously owned.
