Hand-carved and painted New Style Apache (Yoche) Kachina by Navajo carver Raymond Chee, depicted drawing a bow and arrow. The figure is standing on a carved rock-form base and features detailed feather, bow, shield, and painted design elements. The Apache (Yoche) Kachina represents the Apache people and is often associated with warrior strength, protection, and the character of a skilled hunter. The entire figure and rock-form base are carved from one piece of wood and mounted on a flat base at the bottom.
