Hopi Gourd Rattle

Hand-painted Hopi gourd rattle with a natural gourd body in white and green, accented by simple red and black lines. Wooden handle with attached cord and a feather at the top.Traditionally used in Hopi ceremonies and dances, rattles provide rhythmic accompaniment and are often carried by Kachina figures. Hanging string included for wall display.
