Burntwater regional style Navajo weaving by Elverna Vanwinkle, handwoven in wool yarns with hand-dyed vegetal colors, including indigo for the blue tones. The design features a central diamond motif framed by stepped geometric elements and multiple borders, woven in shades of purple, cream, tan, blue, green, and coral. The muted palette and intricate patterning are characteristic of the Burntwater style.
