Bryan Tisi

Bryan Tisi was born on November 30, 1994, in St. George, Utah and lives in Holbrook, Arizona.

Bryan comes from a family of talented artists. His mother, Lena Begay, and his aunt, Sarah Tisi, are both highly regarded weavers whose rugs we have been honored to carry for decades. His grandmother, Norma Keyonnie, is a jeweler and his father, James Tisi, was a jeweler for many years. Bryan began learning the craft using his grandmother and father’s tools and equipment. While influenced by his family's artistic traditions, Bryan is largely self-taught.

Bryan began making jewelry in high school while also participating in basketball and rodeo. He rekindled his craft of jewelry a few years ago and has continued to develop his skills while also working in construction.

He credits his mother and his uncle, acclaimed jeweler Robert Taylor, as inspirations to his work. Bryan enjoys the challenge of creating jewelry. In addition to making silver jewelry set with stones, he also makes beautifully crafted leather and bead bracelets.

Bryan has a son named Jase, and he is a big part of his life. Kind, soft-spoken, and hardworking, Bryan approaches both his life and his art with dedication and a desire to make a difference.
