Orvil Jack

The Orvil Jack mine is a well-known Nevada source of unusually bright green turquoise, often associated with the rare zinc-rich material sometimes referred to as faustite. Located in northern Nevada near Crescent Valley, the claim became known for producing vivid lime green stones, along with some blue and blue-green material. This unusual green coloration is what makes Orvil Jack so recognizable and collectible.

Some material from the same claim is also sold as Blue Ridge when it appears in blue tones, while the bright green material is most often identified as Orvil Jack.
