Gregory Kagenveama is a new Hopi Overlay artist to our store in 2025, Born in 1988, Gregory is the son of Rowena and Bennett Kagenveama. His Grandparents were famed basket weaver Gladys and Richard Kagenveama. Father Bennett was one of the best overlay artists and we lost him in May of 2025.
Gregory was fortunate to get instruction from Bennett and now is staring his career and hopes to continue his father’s legacy of fine detailed overlay jewelry.
